Bill Clinton Net Worth Is $75 Million
Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States of America, held office from January 20, 1993 to January 20, 2001. He has accumulated a net worth of almost $75 million dollars and most of it has come since he left the White House. Bill Clinton is among the wealthiest of the living Presidents and his worth is much more than the incumbent President Obama. Bill Clinton has also been able to pay off all the debt that the family had borrowed as part of the Presidential run for Hillary Clinton, who is considered to be the strongest candidate for the next Presidential Elections to be held in 2016. Bill Clinton was not among the wealthiest when he won, or when he left for that matter. But speaking at conferences and seminars, he has been able to rake in millions of dollars. When Bill Clinton assumed the office as The President, he was the third youngest President aged 46. As a student, Clinton won the Rhodes scholarship and went on to study at Oxford. With Hillary, he has one child named Chelsea Clinton.
Bill Clinton was born in Arkansas on August 19, 1946. As a student, he went to meet the then President John F Kennedy in 1963. He credits the visit to have ignited in him the desire to become a People’s representative. Although he had a somewhat troubled childhood that was not very good in terms of finances, he went on to attend prestigious institutions because of his excellent academic performances. He graduated from Oxford and then attended Yale Law School. It was at Yale that he met his future wife Hillary. He became the Attorney General of Arkansas in 1977 and held that office until 1979 after which he went on to serve two terms as the Governor of Arkansas, first from 1979 to 1981 and then from 1983 to 1992. Bill Clinton and his family’s fortune are set to grow even more if his wife becomes the next President. Whatever the 2016 election outcome will be, he is still a very successful man because of what he has earned after such humble beginnings.
