Amar’e Stoudemire is an American professional basketball player who plays the power forward and center for the New York Knicks of the NBA. He was picked as the 9th overall pick in the 1st round by the Phoenix Suns in the 2002 NBA Draft. He played for the Suns for 8 years, and then agreed on a five-year contract with the New York Knicks, which was reported to be about $100 million over 5 years. Stoudemire was born on 16th November, 1982 in Lake Wales, Florida.
