Margarita is not a genuine self made billionaire, but she is certainly a savvy business woman who knows a thing or two about making money.  She was married to Robert who was the great grandson of Léopold Louis-Dreyfus, the founder of the Louis-Dreyfus Group. After Robert’s death in 2009, Margarita took over his branch of the Louis-Dreyfus Group, which is involved in processing and trading oil and agriculture. She is doing a superb job at carrying on with the work that Robert left behind, and she is currently worth an incredible $6 billion.

48 year old Wu Yajun of China was educated at the Northwestern Polytechnical University and obtained a degree in navigation engineering. She worked as a navigational engineer for 4 years and then joined the China Shirong News Agency as a journalist and an editor. In 1995 she and her former husband founded Longfor Properties (previously called Chongqing Zhongjianke Real Estate), and it was this business that took off and made her billions. She was formerly awarded the title of “Richest Woman in China”, but after her divorce, she lost 30% of her stake of Longfor to her ex husband. She has a net worth of $4.3 billion.
